Writer's Block: Abandon hope, all ye who enter here

Do you think Web sites containing "adult content" should be legally required to post warnings? How would you personally define the rating scale? Do you fear this would place a chill on free/creative expression?

Website should put adult content warnings for their own safety.  Now a days, people will sue anyone for just about anything.  If a website has adult content warnings, such as nudity or explicit writings, and someone underage enters the site, the site isn't liable.  The warnings also help parents lock their computers against these site with adult content if they don't want their children seeing adult content.  I find that it doesn't "chill" free expression because most people see the adult content notice and enter the site regardless.  For some, the adult content warning acts as a beacon.
